All right, folks, since we last dropped the podcast, the Giants had, what, one, two, three, four, five more selections and a bunch of undrafted free agents.

You know, he took a cornerback, a wide receiver, which will get into a defensive tackle, a linebacker, an offensive lineman, and they signed some, I guess, exciting undrafted free agents, one of which is more exciting than probably the rest of them,

considering the special teams, snafus that we've had over the last few years.

But look, Chris, when round two happened, you know, I'm just thinking, all right, we're going to take a defensive tackle.

Then lo and behold, we all saw it.

Houston Texans traded up ahead of us.

And I said, well, that's not going to happen now.

They're trading up for them and they took them.

But, you know, we took Colton Hood, a cornerback from Tennessee.

A lot of guys had him with a first round grade. And look, if you're Colton Hood, you have a golden opportunity to start on the New York Football Giants this coming year, right? You look at their cornerback room and there's a ton of question marks. You know, could they do some things? Sure. Could Newsome and Adiebo start? Yeah, probably. But, you know, if you're Colton Hood, you're coming in here thinking, well, I have a decent opportunity to have at least a lot of playing time. And he's a press corner, which, you know, I think you like. I know I like. So look, the Giants can say what they want, that McDonald was not their target.

I don't believe it.

I would think McDonald was, but I don't know.

But, you know, they pivoted and took the next best player on their board, Colton Hood.

So, you know, I don't know what you thought there, Chris.

I thought it was going to be McDonald. And then as soon as the Texans traded up, I said, well, there goes that. We're not getting, we're obviously not getting it. They're doing that. So do you, you know, first off, what do you think of Colton Hood? And second, do you think that was kind of a, do you believe it that they weren't going to take McDonald's? No. Yeah. No, I don't believe it. But they do need a corner. Yeah. You know, and they like hood. I like hood. I remember watching Tennessee a few times last year. Yeah. And a lot of game, college games I watched this year. I was watching the corners in particular because I knew the Giants were really thin on corners. I remember him stand out a few times. I think Giant fans are going to be like this kid.

He's pretty physical. He's actually get up with your grill. It's a good player, man. He's a good player. Giants had him made it pretty high. Like you said, a lot, you know, a lot of people had him like a late first round grade, you know, you know and the giant's got him early in the second round okay and corner definitely is a need
