First Samuel chapter 17.

Do you see a little caption before you get to that very first verse of 1st Samuel

chapter 17? What do you see right there in that

little caption oh david and goliath i got to tell you something about david and goliath i

told you earlier that i was raised in church i do not remember i'm not having the name of

jesus as a familiar sound in my life.

Being raised in church was a beautiful thing for me because we had all manner of thing

going on, and I do mean all manner of thing because I still also behind the front door of

my home was loved by many people and cherished by many people,

but I was also abused and I was also misused unbeknownst to several others.

See anybody getting what I'm tracking in?

So while all this is going on and while all this madness is taking place, and I grow up in this kind of

madness, also with a lot of beautiful things happening in this free for all that was my young life,

being abused by an authority figure in my life, and yet being taken to church every single time

the door is open, and thinking to myself, well, there is the hypocrisy element

that could really trip you up and break you down right here, or maybe you could just believe it.

And I don't know how to explain. It was just a gift of God, but I'm telling you that even as a child,

I began to fall in love with the Lord Jesus.

Right there in baby bear chairs, anybody's tracking with me, anybody have this kind of background.
