Summary

Welcome back, to The Dark Paranormal.

Today we have one of the most intriguing experiences sent in by one of the most intriguing listeners I’ve encountered. Believe me, I think you will agree when you hear what today’s submitter has to say. A sceptic turned believer is one thing, a sceptic with arguments held in the world of science turning believer is something different altogether. Both equally valid, but the complexities and inner turmoil facing both are very different, as you will hear.

Joining our Patreon team not only gives you early Ad-Free access to all of our episodes, it can also give you access to the Patreon only podcast, Dark Bites. Live from Liverpool, the Dark Paranormal, Season 19.

0:29.8

Hello everyone and welcome back to episode 7, season 19 of the Dark Paranormal.

0:34.8

It's unbelievable that we're only four episodes inclusive of this one,

0:39.3

away from the end of this season and then the the season break, and we look forward to season 20, a monumental season because, well, not yearly, but it is our 20th anniversary, so to speak.

0:49.3

And we are working on a series of surprises and little things which I think will make season 20 the best

0:56.7

thing we've ever done. And I'm really crossing my fingers when I say that because this last two

1:03.0

weeks has been literally the phrase ghosts in the machine. If it could go wrong, it has gone wrong.

1:14.4

But if you enter that mindset doing a show,

1:21.2

it will go wrong. So I'm determined not to on this one. And this one is very special.

1:29.5

Because it's very rare to receive a series of experiences from somebody who is highly qualified and educated,

1:34.2

who is a rational skeptic, who then experiences something paranormal,

1:39.7

and instead of trying to deflect it or try and find a rational explanation,

1:44.9

they instead decide to dive headfirst in to the topic.

1:50.4

And you'll understand what I mean when I say they decide to dive head first in when you've listened to this episode.

1:53.8

You could argue very easily, well, that wasn't the most terrifying of dark paranormal episodes.

1:59.8

But is it one of the most interesting? I most

2:03.1

definitely think so. And also how the experiencer explains their point of view throughout the

2:09.6

experience, it does leave kind of a way that you, the listener, can decide just how terrifying

2:16.7

this episode is.

2:18.8

Do you follow the path of logic and rationale?

2:22.8

Or do you see other things within the episode?

2:26.8

It will be really interesting to hear your comments on it.
