Hi, John, thanks for coming back to the podcast.

Oh, Simon, it's my pleasure. I appreciate you having me back,

and I always look forward to our talks. We have such a good chat.

So we're going to talk about your latest book. It's called The Kansack Ghost, which is an odd title. How did you come up with that one?

Well, that's actually a, the title literally reflects a paranormal experience that we had.

There was a gentleman, an elderly gentleman that was retired, and he came around to all the different apartments and businesses and things collecting 10 cans to sell,

to recycle and sell.

So we there in the apartment complex where we lived at the time, everybody started saving

their cans for him and they would take them out when they saw him and give them the cans so we

didn't have to dig through the dumpster.

We set up a special can outside for people to put their cans in and we also saved them

in our apartments and when we saw them, we'd take them out or we'd dump them in the can outside.

So we had a can sack, quite literally, a plastic bag that we kept in the hallway.

And every time we emptied a can, soda can, beer can, whatever, we put it in the can sack.
