And that means a look at people that, well, may never have quite left. And as some would believe, just may still be with us

in one form or another today.

For this look at a few ghosts of the Gilded Age, I am very excited to share with you a special

episode from the Bowery Boys' archives where Greg and Tom take a special journey into the

Gilded Age of New York to do just that.

And good evening. This is Tom Myers.

With the Bowery Boys annual Halloween special.

This time we are focusing on creepy places and spooky stories that zoom in on New York

during the Gilded Age.

Now, Greg, this is probably our favorite show of the year to do.

At least we have the most fun.

We do, and we will.

Maybe it's because we get in the mood

every year. As regular listeners know, Greg usually goes a little bit overboard with decorations

here in the studio. So what do we have today? We've gone, are, are, is that a new string of lights?

A new string, yeah, a new string of like black lights and orange pumpkin lights in the

back. We have candles all over, and then most notably, as a new addition, I believe, this year.

We have a black raven sitting right here on the counter. It will, it's actually a crow. In fact,

her name is Cheryl, Cheryl Crow, and she's the first official Barry Bird to join the show.

Oh, my God.
