coming off the heels of a general strike in Minneapolis last week. As we speak, a protest is

forming down in Foley Square, which if you're not familiar with is a very

cool place in New York City history, it's kind of the default location for political demonstrations.

And it's also where Pee Pee Poole works. So if you're down there, say hi to Pee Pee Paw, although he doesn't

work on Fridays. So I guess you'll have to wait until Monday. All right, whether you're

participating in the national shutdown today or not,

there are so many different ways to get involved.

And your action does make a difference.

And at the same time, if you're faced with cynics, particularly online, why is it?

It's like the first comment every single time anybody posts about this stuff,

the first comment is, um, actually about this stuff the first comment is um actually

it's not going to worry take a few deep breaths count to five three two one two three what the heck is

bothering me don't let them get into your head about whether you're doing enough or saying enough

trust your gut and when you're questioning yourself, look back to the past.

I have a feeling that there are people listening to this podcast that are maybe questioning

themselves or feeling defeated.
