There are many careers in this world that involve emotionally charged situations.

While one may simply be there to provide care, those being cared for could be in for the fight of

their lives.

Working in the medical field and specifically working in buildings and facilities that have a history of trauma surrounding them can be troubling to some.

Even if the traumatic events happened long ago, the imprint that was left on the atmosphere can still be felt today in many cases.

Sometimes an imprint is nothing more than a residual energy, but sometimes it is

much more.

Can repeated and concentrated negative acts combine to form a conscious entity?

This is an account of the paranormal events that took place where I was once employed.

I worked at a supportive living center for developmentally disabled individuals.

This facility has been in existing since the early 1900s, and by the 1920s they started accepting people

with developmental disabilities and it has been that way ever since now anyone

familiar with psychiatric treatment especially the type performed in the early 1900s,

knows that types of treatment weren't always the most enlightened or ethical.

These treatments combined with outbreaks of flu, measles, and smallpox provided

an atmosphere ripe for the type of energy that would cause someone to linger in this world.

This job was my very first foray into such a field and therefore I had

entered the job with some trepidation. The more comfortable I became with my job, the more comfortable

I became with my job the more comfortable I became with my coworkers.
