| 0:10.6 | a theme park podcast that aims to exhaustively evaluate the world's most popular theme park |
| 0:15.9 | attractions to determine if they are world class. I'm Ryan Bergara and I'm Byron Marin. And for this episode's |
| 0:24.2 | featured attraction, we saddle up and grab our pickax because it's time to hitch a ride on Calico's |
| 0:29.0 | fastest set of wheels in the west, ghost rider at Knott's Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. |

| 1:17.7 | festival every year that I frequent. I eat my body weight in Boisenberry treats. Also just funny |
| 1:22.9 | that someone is allowed to be named Rudolph Boisen. Now, the Great Depression leads to a massive price drop in land. |
| 1:32.3 | So the Knott's, even though they're not flesh with cash, they decide to double down. |
| 1:36.7 | They buy a bunch more land. |
| 1:38.5 | And then in 1934, Cordelia knot has this game-changing idea. |
| 1:42.7 | She begins to sell fried chicken dinners in her tea |
| 1:46.0 | room. This fried chicken becomes so coveted that people show up by the hundreds waiting hours |
