wanted to tell you about something that i am really excited about which is that this fall bull's i

is celebrating its 25th anniversary i don't know if you can believe that.

25 years ago, I was in my dorm room at UC Santa Cruz, 19 years old, and I invited my friends,

Jordan and Gene, to go up to the college radio station and try starting a show.

We are going to have a whole month of special shows and all kinds of cool stuff to celebrate the 25th anniversary. Plus, in addition to that,

on October 9th, I will be interviewing 25 people in a row, 25 for 25, we're calling it.

That will be live and streaming on the Bullseye YouTube page, October 9th from 5 to 8 p.m. Pacific.

We are also going on the road to three of the most special places in Bullseye history.

On October 16th, we will be here in Pasadena, in the Los Angeles area at LAist, with a special show where I will be joined by

Cheech Marine, Roy Wood Jr., Jason Manzukas, Aparnancharla, and Rebecca Sugar. I mean, that's a lineup, folks.

On November 1st, we'll be at the Cumbwa Jazz Center in Santa Cruz, California.

I hope those of you in the Monterey Bay Area,

and those of you in all of Northern California will make a weekend trip to Santa Cruz for this one.

Because in addition to Bullseye legends, Boots Riley and Glenn Washington

from Snap Judgment, we will also have Santa Cruz native Adam Scott, the star of Severance and

Parks and Recreation, of course, plus comedy from our old friend Scott Simpson and music from the

U.S.C. Mariachi Ensemble.

And on Saturday, November 15th, we'll be at the pit in New York City, the people's improv theater, the first place where I ever did a Bullseye live show, back when it was the

Sound of Young America. I'll be joined by Jada Boomrod from Radio Lab and a great new podcast about Felakuti. John Benjamin from

Archer and Bob's Burgers. Comedy from Josh Gondleman will have music from my friends Kristen
