all about the music that is both the song score and the film score to Ghostbusters, a movie from 1984 from Columbia Pictures, directed by

Ivan Reitman with a film score by Elmer Bernstein.

As you may have guessed from the opening, I'm opting to focus this particular episode on the film's

orchestral score, and I'll save our deep dive into the song score for another episode.

Because we may or may not remember that Ghostbusters has a lot of
