Not sure why, I mean, I think it has something to do with Julius Caesar.

That's what I remember from the freshman year in high school. Thank you for tuning in, you're listening to fighting for the faith. My name is

Chris Roseboro. I am your servant in Jesus Christ and this is the program that

dishes up a daily dose of biblical discernment, the goal of which help you

to think biblically, help you slow down, slow, slow, slow, slow

down and open up your Bible. Yeah, you stop, open up your Bible, and then, you know, compare what people are saying in the name of God to the word of God.

No shortage of really crazy things being said out there.

We take the time to open up our Bibles and do the comparative work to check and see what the most

popular pastors, preachers, teachers, conference speakers, self-proclaimed prophets, prophetesses,

self-appointed apostles and those generally put forward by the evangelical

industrial complexes, those who we need to be listening to, whose books we need to be buying,

whose chachis we need to be having on our key chains, you know, stuff like that to see what they're saying

actually squares with what God's word says in context or if they're actually being quite innovative and let's say spreading the biblical

butter really thin you know what I'm saying here generally teaching for shameful gain the

things that they ought not to teach and over and again we find that yeah

There's a lot of guys out there who are really popular

From like the biblical standard like nobody should be listening to I think that's a good way of putting it.

So let's talk about what we're going to do on today's episode of fighting for the

faith. This is our first really normal program in a while. Today we're going to begin with a Perry Stone update.
