Hello and welcome to the fully charged show podcast. This week's episode is very very

UK-specific in its actual activities but not not UK specific in terms of the goals, the aims, and the possible

technological solutions to electricity, distribution, cost, ownership, etc.

I think these are fairly universal things we're talking about now in relation to the

greater and greater adoption of renewables and the utilization of the energy

that is produced by them being used more creatively more effectively and more just simply more more

in the grid and it's a really I'm really excited about what's happening in this space now because for one thing,

arrangements in for instance Germany that I may not be aware of and I hope

some of our listeners will inform me of that and correct me on that.

Generally our listeners and viewers on fully charge are very good at correcting us,

particularly me because I make quite a lot of errors.

But what Octopus do is they have various tariffs,

super economic tariffs, they only supply 100% renewable electricity, but one of their tariffs has

been in the sort of news recently because of the very

positive weather we've been experiencing in the UK as regards renewables, quite a lot of

sunshine, quite a lot of wind. We've had very high amounts of renewables going
