Have you ever taken a true step of faith? I mean something not based on feeling, not something foolish, but something that you know you

are divinely led of God, guided by the Holy Spirit through the Word, to simply follow the

Lord in faith.

And if so, how long has it been?

You know, the Christian life is a faith life from start to finish. We return on our

journey through Hebrews chapter number 11 today to the life of Abraham. And before we move on,

there are other great men and women of faith in this chapter that we're about to come to. But I want to

back up to some of the scriptures that we have just walked through

and concentrate on them, if you'll permit me to do that, for a couple of studies,

and bring out some applications that I think are pertinent to all of us.

You know, we should emphasize in Scripture what God emphasizes in Scripture.

And if you just look at Hebrews chapter number 11 you'll see that

many people are mentioned by name by phrase a few get an entire verse Abraham gets a number of
