as we were preparing this podcast on styles of relating.

Yeah, and so we're about to go to an older treasure, right?

This content released a while back and I was back into that content this week and it's

on the styles of relating at a marriage retreat with Sherry and I were hosting with Greg and

Laurie McConnell, John and Stacey and Sherry was telling a story about our courtship and

she was describing the dynamics at work of she's a Nashville, I'm in Colorado and she

felt pressure from me for her to only move to Colorado if we were engaged and she was

wanting room for us to do some normal life because we just had these power dates and these

intense weekends but never did normal life.

I'm listening to this audio from years ago, a teaching on styles of relating and everything

in me is like, who is that guy?

Like, what a jerk.

Why would she stay with him?

And this was a teaching from healing, from restoration and so it was just this beautiful

moment to remember we're all in process and we're not who we were and we aren't who

we one day will be and it was a joy to just bring Sherry today back into that conversation

and pick it up and go for the next chapter together.
