Good morning everyone and happy sleepy saturday. Welcome back to the messy masterpiece podcast with Chad Tory and Amy.

So today is going to be a fun long from episode where we're going to jump into the divo.

But then we're going to ask Amy some questions on a very, very hot topic, which is what's it like to get married young?

But before we pick up on that, we're picking up on the three of our freedom from stress devotional.

There's a link to that in the description of this podcast if you're going to follow along with us.

And I'm going to read the scripture and then Tory's going to read the divo.

The scripture is Isaiah 26 verses three and four and it says this.

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you.

Trust in the Lord always for the Lord God is the eternal rock.

And the devotional says you have access to perfect peace.

If you've dealt with stress for long enough, you realize you can postpone it, deal with it and live through it.

But you can't overcome it on your own.

Stress is chaos of the mind.

It's reacting to changing circumstances that make us feel threatened, scared, worried or anxious.

But even though we can't overcome stress on our own, we have access to the antidote, peace.

Jesus is described as the prince of peace in Isaiah 9.

Jesus was and is the fulfillment of peace.

When Jesus was on earth, he promised his disciples that he would give and leave his peace with us even after he returned to heaven.

There is no peace apart from him.

Peace is also described as a fruit of the Holy Spirit.

So it's obviously and understandably pretty important.
