Romans chapter seven, verses one through six, I'll read the odd numbered verses.

Paul says to the churches in Rome, or do you not know brethren?

For I speak to those who know the law that the law has dominion over a man

as long as he lives.

So then, if while her husband lives, she's married to a, she marries another man,

she will be called an adulterist, but if her husband dies, she is free from that law

that she is no adulterist, though she has married another man.

For when we were in the flesh, that is our pre-Christ BC before Christ's life,

the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members,

that's our body parts, to bear fruit to death.

Father, we pray that you would speak to us these closing words of this section

and that Lord having come here today, we would leave as a transformed people.

Your word is alive, it is real, you are enthroned in heaven above,

and the earth, the Bible says, is your footstool.

So Father, we honor your authority over all things.

So Father, teach us now, we pray in Jesus' name and all God's people said,
