Sean M. Smukler joins the podcast today to discuss soil health and sustainable agriculture. Sean is the Principal Investigator of the SAL lab, and Associate Professor and Chair of Agriculture and Environment in Land and Food Systems at the University of British Columbia.
Sean realized at an early age that he thoroughly enjoyed working with plants and soil. After studying ecology at UC Davis and the University of Washington, Sean has focused his research on managing agriculture to enhance soil productivity for future generations.
