and I want to make a point, and it is this, we talk a lot about Noah, but have you ever noticed how many

references there are in his story to his family? Because it's not just the story of Noah,

it's the story of Noah's family. Genesis chapter number six, beginning in verse number five, says,

and God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth,

and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And he

repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him in his heart. And the Lord

said, I will destroy man, whom I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast,

and the creeping thing and the fowls of the air, for it repenteth me that I have created from the face of the earth, both man and beast and the creeping thing

and the fowls of the air, for it repenteth me that I have made them, but Noah found grace

in the eyes of the Lord. This is the first mention of grace in the Bible. That's significant. Did you
