It's me, Nies Showbo.

Yo, so this past weekend, man, my sons had their first football game.

So my sons are 8 and 11, 6th grade, third grade.

And for me, as their dad, it was very special for me.

You know, I've gone through a lot of trouble, you know,

with their mother trying to get them in sports and do things like this.

And so this was the first time that they've been involved in organized sports in this type of way.

And I never put football on my sons.

And they never could say that, you know, playing football was a requirement for them from me.

So I never even really talked about it, to be honest.

Like, I mean, they knew I played football.

They knew Daddy played football.

But to say I wasn't super excited when they both started pressing me about playing,

that would be a lie.

So I was excited, man.

So I've been going to the practices every day for the past, like, two weeks.

And no lie, watching my sons play football has become, I mean, it's like my new pastime.

Like, it's my favorite pastime.

I have so much fun out there watching them, just being around the game.

So my oldest son is in sixth grade, and he's never played football in his life.

So when someone's never really played football, usually they look a little awkward out there and that's the case for my son. So he's got his game and I'm watching him before he starts and I can tell he's anxious.
