Hey guys, I'm Maddie, and welcome or welcome back to The Sister Diary. I'm here with Lauren on

Zoom. I'm back home in Toronto, but Maddie abandoned me to live her best

life in L.A. So we are recording over Zoom today. It's funny. I'm in the studio in L.A. and

Lauren's on the TV. So I'm like talking to her. And I feel like we actually haven't talked that

much. So maybe we can do a bit of a catch-up before we get into this episode.

Yeah, tell me what you've been up to. Well, no, my main question is actually for you, and it is

how was your birthday? Because the last time we talked, remember, we were like, oh, you're going to be

listening to this episode on Lauren's 16th birthday. Oh, yes. Okay, well, this is just for anyone listening because I know Maddie already knows,

but if you guys didn't see on Instagram, I guess, they surprised me with a dog for my birthday.
