Hi, my name is Tatiana Calderon. I'm a professional racing driver originally from Colombia,

and happy to be able to follow my passion. Columbia? That's amazing. So where exactly did you grow up?

I grew up in Bogota, and I've always been a huge fan of sports and happy to have found my passion in motorsport when I was nine years old.

It was like really like love at first sight with karting.

My sister took me to a rental go carcar track. We bought a five-minute

ticket and I fell in love with speed and adrenaline and I sort of knew. That was what I wanted to

pursue very early on. Were you one of the only women on the track? Yes. When I started racing with my

sister, we were the only two girls racing at the time.

I remember getting to the track for the first time and everybody is smiling and, oh, anything you need.

So good to see girls joining the sport.

And that really changed when we started to be competitive. Then nobody greets you, nobody looks at you in the eye.
