My name is Kateri Bluford. I am a Christian gospel singer. I'm a go-getter. I'm strong.

And I don't give up even when it looks like it's hard. And I have a heart of gold towards people and, no, that's really who I am.

More specifically, gospel music.

What made me fall in love with music was because I feel like it was the best healing medicine I could have ever discovered.

It has gotten me through a lot of tough situations, loss of family members, friends.

And it has overall been, like I said in the beginning, the medicine to the pain that I felt over the years.
