Summary

A little treat for you on this blustery Friday—an extra snippet from our first episode with the brilliant Megan Crabbe. Our conversation was so great we couldn’t fit it all into the main podcast, so here’s the part you didn’t hear.

Megan was one of the original trailblazers of the Body Positivity movement—calling out diet culture long before it became a trend. In this bonus clip, we talk about how she found herself at the forefront of that shift, and she shares more about her personal journey with queerness.

I adore Megan. I could listen to her speak forever—hope you enjoy this as much as I did.

And then one day it was post a video dancing around and embrace the party as it jiggles and challenge yourself in that way.

1:11.6

And I was just taking part in the challenge and it blew up and went super, super viral.

And it wasn't like me trying to be good at dancing or anything.

1:24.6

It was literally just I'm wearing a sports bar and some underwear jiggling around showing that it's okay to embrace your body

and find joy in it regardless of how it looks. I just remember it being very

refreshing, very exciting, you know, with like, because you had really colourful hair,

1:41.0

didn't you? I remember it just, it was an amazing image. And it was all colorful clothes.

1:46.5

It was pre-Tick-Tock.

1:47.6

So people weren't really, yeah,

recording dances of themselves on the internet yet.
