Hi, my name is Dr. Anita Van Dyke.

I am a medical doctor, rocket scientist, sustainability author, and most importantly, I'm a rebel girl.

A rocket scientist and a doctor, you must be busy.

What do you love most about working in rocket science?

I love being a rocket scientist because I love to solve problems,

understanding a complex situation,

breaking it down into small parts and then finding a solution from that. It's really interesting

to me. It's challenging. It's stimulating. At the same time, I find it really fun.

That sounds like solving an epic puzzle. How did your journey into science and medicine begin?

Lots and lots of studying and lots of hard work, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
