Yeah, sure. My name is Ani DiFranco, and I am a songwriter, guitar player, performer, a rabble-rouser.

Annie, when did you know you wanted to be a musician?

I was making music as a kid, yeah.

When I was nine, I asked my parents to give me a guitar.
