Hi, Rebels. This is Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls. I'm Michaela, and today we're chatting with Tony Award-nominated actress and singer Montego Glover.

Hi, Montego. I'm a huge fan and I'm so happy to talk with you today. Thank you.

Would you like to kick things off and tell us a little bit about yourself?

Hi, I'm Montego Glover. I'm from Chattanooga, Tennessee and I'm an actress. I'm based in New York

City and I get to work in theater, plays and

musicals, television, film, voiceover commercials, concerts. You've found your way into acting at

12 by walking past a theater classroom and being invited in. What made you decide to go inside?

I went in because, one, I was was curious and two, I was invited.

I was so interested in what was in the room.

I was learning so much.

There were so many new ideas, so many people to meet.

And I was loving the journey of getting to know this art and also the people who were doing it alongside me.

Do you have a dream role as a young actor and do you have one now?

No, I don't think that I had a dream role.

What I wanted was to keep doing it.

I loved it so much.

I loved getting to know the text.

I loved working with the other student actors. I loved learning new things. I loved getting to know the text. I loved working with the other student actors.

I loved learning new things. I loved getting to use my body and my voice. Whether I was speaking

or singing or making like weird animal sounds, I liked all of that. And so the thing that I dreamt

about most is continuing to do it in different ways.
