Nurdette I'm Greta Johnson and

Nurdette is a show where we talk to your favorite or soon to be favorite people.

And sometimes we talk about some of your favorite or least favorite topics,

and this week we are talking all about money.

Because here's the deal, right?

I mean, I think a lot of what Nurdett is about

is how to be a grown-ass woman in the world,

and money is weird and hard and kind of awkward.

I think the first time money really came up as a subject on this show

was about a year ago when our guests were the co-host of the podcast Call Your Girlfriend,

and for homework, Aminatu So said this.

My other homework is that you should make a financial goal for next year.

Oh no, no matter how big or small, whether it's like finally checking your bank account every day or having a savings

goal in mind or talking to somebody about getting your finances right, make a financial goal, stick to it.

So in that audio, you can like literally hear how exasperated and already I exhausted I am just by the idea of dealing with my finances.

It's hard and for so many of us money is just like a thing that happens to us instead of something that we can really take charge of.

So we're going to take charge of it right now.
