Yesterday Derek Brown and I broke down a little Deontae Johnson trade.

I want to talk to you about him too because I want your take on this program.

I'm sure you gave it on the podcast earlier today.

But let's talk about the Deontae Johnson trade.

Question for you.

Does he have more value theoretically or in practice now that he is a Baltimore

Raven?

I think that, I think his value is probably, it's probably a neutral move in my opinion with

Deontay Johnson obviously you're getting the massive quarterback upgrade with

Lamar Jackson over what he's basically half their entire NFL career where he really hasn't had that great of

quarterbacks to work with but he's always been a volume monster so now he's putting a situation where he's not going to be a volume

monster anymore like he has to win with efficiency, which he has never done at any point in his NFL career. It's just been vacuuming up underneath targets. He is one of the worst career yards per target in NFL history. So I think this means for him he's not going to be consistent. Like you're not going to see him, oh double-digit targets every single week,

lock and load, Deontay Johnson, you have that floor, that's gone. He's going to have spiked weeks because of playing in this offense

where they can score more touchdowns than any other team any given week, but the weeks that he doesn't
