Hello my friends and welcome back to the morning mindset. You know some of the

favorite movies that I've ever watched are what I would call rescue movies.

One of my favorites is Apollo 13.

I just love seeing how those men were in such a difficult situation

and the ingenuity and hard work of their fellow workers

down on the ground helped them get back to earth safely. That's a true story. I love

movies like that and I think part of why I love the movies like that is because the concept of rescue is something that I think resonates with us as human beings and ultimately our God has rescued us from the power of

sin and he does that through Jesus Christ. We're going to be talking about salvation, what that really means and how that can be a weapon for us day after

day as we fight the battles we face here on planet Earth.

I want to tell you that people have told me

I can be kind of an odd duck sometimes.

I can have kind of a goofy sense of humor.

I can do some kind of funny things.
