It's Wednesday night, isn't it? How do we know? They've all been shouting and pointing at each other

in the mother of all parliaments. It's also Ladies' Day at Cheltenham, but don't tell the wokeists. And I'll bring

you a sample of some of the strangest stories around. Freaky fashion, the Surly Spanish,

and some very odd goings on at a funeral parlour in Hull. This is the Independent Republican

Do you remember the Rwanda scheme? You know, the one the government spent 240 million pounds failing to get off the ground for years. Well, now migrants who have their asylum claims

rejected can still find themselves in Rwanda, but with a tasty cash incentive. Here's

explain how this would work.

His Home Affairs answer at the Times, Matt Dayton. Matt, a very good evening to you. The government

surely can't think that this is a good idea, can they? Well, I think this has been drawn up since,

actually, Suella Bavann and Robert Generick left government in December.

So it's been agreed with the Rwandan government in the last few months this year that we understand.

And it's a separate scheme to the forced deportation scheme.

It's a voluntary scheme.

So they've already actually started asking and phoning up asylum seekers or fail asylum seekers, whether they want to take up the offer of £3,000 to be moved to Ruranda.

I think essentially what this boils down to is a kind of contingency or backup plan by the government.
