I say God didn't call you to isolation. He called you to be involved.

I was talking to you last night about the porcupines that each have 30,000 quills and

those dudes are sharp. And I read a story about in the winter when it's really, really

cold. The only way they can survive is if they get together in a huddle.

That takes a decision because they know if they huddle together they're going to get stuck.

But they'd rather take a chance on getting hurt than to freeze the death and die.

I say God didn't call you to isolation. He called you to be involved.

So many people now fell into the habit of staying home and watching TV on Sunday.

No, no, I'm stepping on some toes.

But you need to be in the corporate worship and you don't go to church just to see what you can get.

You go to give.

You go because the church is supposed to be a place that provides you a way to serve.

If they're doing enough outreach there's going to be something you can be part of.

There's going to be a prison ministry. There's going to be an outreach to the poor.

There's going to be something that you can get involved in.

But if you can't find a place like that, find a shelter in the city and go volunteer once a week.

Do something. Just refuse to do nothing because the more of nothing that you do, the unhappy or you get.

The one thing that we cannot do is nothing.

And I don't want to send you home mad at me.

But what I'm telling you, what I said last night, what I'm saying today, of course I feel as well about everything I preach.

It's important for you to hear this because really I don't ever try to tell you anything that I don't think is good for you.
