So achievement is addicting and small victories will build your confidence throughout all of the achievements.

So it's easy to look at a really big goal and that big goal can be really scary.

And a lot of people, they'll give up when they have really big goals because they feel like when they go through little achievements, those little achievements are not enough to get them to that big goal.

Or they give up because of the fact that their goals scare them.

So it's important for us to start off with very small victories in order to build our confidence.

And this is something that I used to do with my sales reps and I had sales reps that would come in and say, Rob, I want to sell $10,000 this week.

Maybe they're very first week on the job and I love that people set big goals in that way.

But my main goal for them was not to get them to sell $10,000 in their first week on the job.

My main goal was to get them to sell just a little bit their first week on the job and start to build their confidence and build from there.

Because very rarely, very, very, very rarely out of a couple of thousand people that I trained, very rarely did somebody sell $10,000 in their very first week on the job.

So you have to realize, let's say that someone comes in and they want to sell $10,000 their first week on the job and they only sell $1,000.

Well, to them, they seem like they came up short and that's going to not help them.

But that is going to have them lose their confidence.

So what I would say is instead of saying $10,000 in the first week, I'd say, OK, listen, I love your goals.

I love that you want to go really big.
