We've had another day of World Cup action.

We've seen a big upset, a goal fest and some controversial calls as well.

I'm Cain Murray, joined in the studio by Shekahislop, Craig Burley and Frank LeBuff as well.

We've also got Archie Rintut joining us because we're going to start by talking about

Germany's opening game in which they lost to Japan.

We'll get the view from Germany in just a moment but Craig, on to start with you.

Germany took the lead at that point.

Did you ever think it would end the way it did with Japan coming back?

No, I didn't and it's not because Japan are not a good side and they've got some

pedigree and World Cups.

I don't think this is as big a shock as the Saudi Arabia Argentina game because

Japan, if you look at their playing squad, I've got players playing in Germany,

playing in I think in Italy and France, all over Europe and in Premier League.

What shocked me was how bad Japan were in the first half.

They were so tepid in their approach and they basically allowed Germany to do it

they want but as soon as they come out in the second half and contested more balls
