Greetings, parish orphans, and retrogrades, happy Tuesday.

Strange times continue, don't they? And there's no stranger place in the church than Germany.

As of yesterday, the National Catholic Register reported that the German Sonodal Way, which is a preparatory

German body for the Synodal Synod, the Synod on Synod that will happen in about a year,

the German Synodal Way meeting ends with a call for same-sex blessings and a change to

the catechism on homosexuality. They're also calling for a change to the catechism on contraception between non-gay people.

And I'll tell you what.

This is the closest to outright schism that the German church has ever been, or at least in the last 500 years.

The Reformation never left Germany, folks.

What a strange time. So we're going to be talking about Edward Penton's article on National

Catholic Register. We're going to talk about the article and the news, the ever-present news

of the Sonodal Way and the incredibly radical left,

German church, mainstream German church that's allowed with almost no pushback from the Vatican

to call continually for schism in the church, to call for the church to move its unchangeable

teachings to the left in the church.

Without any kind of serious pushback, that should be compared to the fallout from the summer

and the witch hunting in the church against Catholic traditionalists,

licit Catholic traditionalists who love the Latin Mass,

who have been punished and impugned

and have their reputations sullied over the last eight months in the church.
