I see it in this song that's been played every time now Germany plays this 80s

hit Major Tom by Peter Schilling. That's a song about a cosmonaut,

space rocket lifting off into space into weightlessness

and it's about for leaving earth behind and just floating and that's what everyone secretly wants

this tournament to glue.

The victory could not have come at a better time. Trouble is

brewing in Europe's largest economy. Last year Germany slipped into

recession. Trains no longer run on time and crime is on the up.

And after a decade of mass immigration, a far right party,

alternative of it for Deutschland, the AFD, made historic gains in this month's European

elections.
