during World War II. The story begins for me, at least. I was walking on the University of Kansas

in Lawrence, Kansas. I noticed a building that had a really nice construction, and it was

made of stone and had nice masonry to it, and it was called Danforth Chapel. I looked on the

side of the building for the inscription of when it was built and it said 1946. I thought to myself,

that's odd because that means it would have been built mostly during World War II,
