pretty special episode. I'm going to be interviewing and introducing Jerry Powell.

And Jerry is quite an interesting character with a long background.

Is he going to hear here with, you know, some substance abuse and addictions,

but also some incredible success in business.

So he is an American entrepreneur.

In 2015, he founded Rhythmia Life Advanced Center in Costa Rica after an experience

with plant medicine that helped him overcome depression, helped him overcome anxiety,

helped them overcome addictions. And the medically licensed

luxury retreat center focuses on spiritual awakening and facilitates plant medicine journeys. He was originally

founded a bunch of other businesses. So he founded WIRE rent, which was designed to help consumers

buy homes with no down payment or low monthly

payments. In 1994, he co-founded cooperative images, which became Thatlook.com. The company went

public in 1999, and he later founded My Choice Medical, which was sold in 2004 for $94 million. So Jerry has done some incredible things

in the entrepreneurial world. He shares pretty openly his challenges and his struggles

with addictions, with, you know, his challenges with infidelities and some of his, some of his

past. He has an incredible sort of turnaround stories and a lot of that revolves around plant

medicine. So he shares a lot about his personal story. He shares a good amount about his

experience with plant medicine. And we dive into why he built this retreat center down in Costa Rica that I've had the

pleasure of being at.
