Just on the science front, a couple of quick headlines here.

New data is showing that people infected with the B1351 variant of COVID.

This is the so-called South African variant.

Actually develop immune responses that allow them to fight off all the other variants, which

is interesting.

The scientists are now trying to figure out how to use this particular variant as basically

the core ingredient of a monoclonal antibody that can be used as a treatment.

And hopefully there's more widespread use of these monoclonal antibodies.

My best friend in New York, Jerry, right after he got his COVID shot, came down with COVID.

I think it was the first time he'd been out of the house in, you know, in a year, and

he got COVID.

And ended up in the hospital, and they were talking about putting him on a ventilator.

And he asked, he said, can I get the monoclonal antibodies?

And the doctor was like, nah, you know, it's a year too far along, and we, you know, we

just, you know, we're not using them that much.

You need to stick up for yourself.

And my friend didn't, but he, you know, he's well now.

He finally got on the other side of it, but it was a difficult time.
