A lot of folks are coming back to the college football table, but I want you to come back with an open heart and an open mind, and I give you the same warning that Memo used to give me all the time.

Meemaw, when speaking about week zero, actually week zero didn't exist in Meemaw's time.

Meemal, when speaking about week one, used to always say, and I'm going to say again,

the wise man makes observations, the foolish man draws conclusions. We are jam-packed, as jam-packed as we could

ever be. We are high-toppy picturesque downtown Nashville, Tennessee, Sunday night, August 25th.

The Year of Our Lord, 24, Florida State. Wow. Georgia Tech. Wow. Same word. Very different meaning there. Do you think that this season is given off

some pretty big chaos vibes? We're not even into week one yet, but already I'm getting the sense.

We kind of found out some stuff about Florida State. The only difference between Florida State

and several of our other top 10, top 20, top 25-ish teams is we're about to find out about them.

There's some posers out there amongst us, and who knows who they are.

Well, hopefully we'll try and pick through it tonight.

I got an updated J.P. poll. Unprecedented.

I am releasing a second edition of the J.P. poll before 98% of you have even played a game,

but I thought it was necessary because one of our top 10 teams was not.

And that's the way it goes. Power ratings are not rankings.

But sometimes you can fall pretty quickly down the power ratings if you, well, if you do what Florida State did yesterday.
