Ingram Smith has the night off tonight and we are recording here just shortly after midnight and Florida State dropped a game tonight to

Georgia Tech 22 to 16. The first ACC loss in for shoe and I think 29 games and you know not one that I really saw

coming particularly in this spot I mean it certainly was a game that we knew and

we addressed for state could could lose, but not only

that we thought they should lose or would lose.

And that's disappointing there when you go and you have a three-game stretch of Miami, Louisville, and then Georgia Tech, and you win the first

two.

I think most people's expectations in those was to go two and one.

So from that perspective, this team's right on track for that.

On the other hand, I think as a fan, once you lose,

once you win those first two you really do

you really kind of do expect it to take and win that final one and and for state

didn't tonight they they screwed up big time in several major areas. They didn't overcome injuries in some spots.

And they really weren't coached very well on offense.

And you combine all those things, combine those things

with what we already knew about this team, which was that it's a very

young team and it had struggled on the road in the past this year.

Only one offensive touchdown the night.

Only one offensive touchdown against Boston College, a pretty poor effort on the
