Another week, another indictment for a former president and a few of his friends.

Donald Trump, Rudy Giuliani and 17 others were indicted by a grand jury in Atlanta, following

a two-year investigation led by Fulton County District Attorney, Fannie Willis.

Specifically, the participants in association took various actions in Georgia and elsewhere

to block the county of the votes of the presidential electors, who were certified as the winners

of Georgia's 2020 General Election.

As you examine the indictment, the 97-page indictment lists 41 counts of criminal activity

across its 19 defendants, Trump and Giuliani topped the leader board with 13 counts each.

Those charges include false statements and writings, three counts each for solicitation

of violation of oath by public officers, several counts of conspiracy and perhaps most notably,

a violation of the Georgia Reco Act.

All of the defendants in fact are charged with violating Georgia's Racketeering Influence

and Corrupt Organization Act.

It is the fourth case, Trump is preparing to fight in court along with the presidential

campaign he's running.

After the second federal indictment from special counsel Jack Smith, Trump claimed that more

indictments could only help stretch his massive lead in the polls ahead of next year's

primaries.
