Hello and welcome to a very special post-game edition of Football and Grits.

Not only do we have an episode coming to you after the SEC Championship game, we are here and in person. We not broadcasting live on YouTube so you guys will not get to see our smiling faces and our sport jackets. I'm sorry to deprive you guys of that. We kind of failed all around actually because first off football and Korean barbecue. We had some Korean barbecue last night. We did have some Korean barbecue on that day. And we didn't even do like some couples photos at the table. We should have. We should have. We could have promoted the show with a little post-Korean barbecue photo shoot. But instead we just dug our face and freshly grilled meats. It was delicious. Shout out to Iron Age. Bringing the heat. And we are in Atlanta and this is is the SEC football show, and we are coming from the

SC championship game.

This is our Super Bowl.

We have commandeered someone's radio booth.

I'm not sure who's the bad boys in the media world.

Yeah, I'm not sure whose it is.

But the game is complete.

Georgia 50, thanks to a two-point conversion that Kirby Smart says points to analytics.

I think it points to, I'm not really sure, but going from up 25 to 27 instead of 26,

I don't know about that chart, Brody.

I guess like, yeah, two two-point touchdowns at 16... I was doing the math that I had. There are three two-point touchdowns and a field goal is 27. I guess. I was doing the math and I was like, I don't know. Because three touchdowns would be 24. To say nothing of the fact that there was like 12 minutes left. You and I thought maybe, and I know this and probably isn't it, isn't it, but I did check what the score of 2019 LSU domination of Georgia was.

And? It was 27 points. All right, all right. I am not putting words in Kirby's mouth, but you never know. Kirby said Kirby was pointing to analytics. I would say with 12 minutes left, you're probably okay. But especially with No Jaydon Daniels.

We'll get to some of that stuff later.

Georgia, I think for me the biggest takeaway in watching this is we've seen this from Georgia all year.

When they need to show up, they show up.

I don't think that they were going to have a motivation issue.

And I wrote about this post game.

I think for people outside of college football or just watching it and sort of saying,

they look at this game and say, oh, well, that doesn't really mean anything
