Yes, George Ed Gomez, San Diego Native, and I am currently the Council President for the City of San Diego.

And I'm also running for Congress.

I don't even know that I know what a Council President for the City of San Diego is.

Could you tell me more about this job?

Yeah, for sure. So the City of San Diego has this form of government that is strong mayor,

strong council. What does that mean? That means that the council members make the policies.

We legislate. We say we're going to do this and the mayor implements.
