I wish there was a little better news to start today's episode, wink, like the Seattle Seahawks not winning the Super Bowl or like a 49ers player not getting shot.

But that's what we're going to talk about to start today.

And there's some interesting happenings and potentially some rumbings about what could happen.

Could there be some former 49er coming back to San Francisco to help out the offense

and potentially save the day?

But let's start here with the report from Matt Barrows that came out that per sources,

49ers defensive lineman Keon White was shot in the ankle during an event in San Francisco, early Monday morning.

White had surgery and was expected to be okay.

Police say that there was an altercation at an event on Mission Street.

White is not believed to have been part of the altercation.
