Hello, everybody, and welcome to the Total Soccer Show. I'm pretty sure I blew out my levels there, but I'm okay with it because today, joining me, Taylor Rockwell, I've got George Carachia, a man who's never afraid to play some soccer, even when he doesn't have shoes. It's one of my favorite George Carachie stories. Hi, George. How you buddy? Hey, man. How are you? I'm okay. How are you? You know, about the same. It's been a strange month for sure. I'm sure it's been strange for you because for folks who don't know, we're going to be talking a lot about Daryl Grove today. And to start off, you were with him when he was first diagnosed. He was in Florida.

If people don't know that, you and your family, both your wife and your dad, your stepmom to

leave as well, were very generous to Daryl and Shannon, made them feel very comforted, made them

feel very at home at a time when I think they did not. So I'm sure it's been a strange thing for

you to go from being

sort of like immediately connected to it to sort of seeing what's happened from a distance.

Yeah. I mean, look, Darrell became, yeah, Darrell became a friend for just like, just as you

have, right, over the course of several years. And I've always felt an affinity with you guys because

when we met, you guys had

this little thing, The Total Soccer Show, and I had Howler, and it felt like we were, you know,

doing, we were trying similar things. We were trying to make it on our own in a world where,

uh, that's, that's hard. Like, independent media is hard. And you guys, man, you guys have

killed it. And it's, yeah, just watching that was so neat and getting to know you guys. And then seeing, you know, I became a listener. I became a friend. I got to see you in front of the mic, behind the mic. You and see the Philly Show, man. Yeah, that's right. That's right. And I have kind of stage fright.

Like, I'm not like super comfortable in front of, like, given a couple of like speeches at weddings and things.

I always have to psych myself up, right?

And I'm just not good at it.

And I had to do it.

Wait, hold on.

We're going off on tangents already.

And that's basically how this show is going to be.

If you're coming here to listen to us, like break down a game, you are in the wrong location. That's me and Joe. We'll do that later on. But right now, George and I are just going to kind of talk about random things. We'll see where it goes. Yeah, we're going to talk about the game of life. What is the George psych up speech like? I tell myself that, first of all, I have to, I always make a joke.
