Hello again everyone. Welcome back to software radio, software radio. On time on target,

I'm your host this afternoon, Steve Ballastrary, our special guest this afternoon needs no introduction

to our software community. We all know him and we've all read all of his stuff. He actually did some

Facebook live stuff years ago as part of software, but Jordan is joining us.

George just wrote and we have it right here. Brothers of the club, it's actually backwards on camera,

but he just wrote this book. We're going to discuss that before we do that. George,

Gio, welcome back to software. We've missed you my friend. Thank you Steve, I really appreciate the invite.

It's good to see you. I mean, we've all missed you around here. I have to jump right in and ask

you a quick question. I had Pete Blabor on not too long ago, who you worked more in the special

mission unit. He was telling us about your affinity and ability with foreign languages, and is

that something you picked up as a youngster? Was just some of you born with? Yeah, that's a youngster.

The affinity I recognized as a youngster, but I was so young that I had no resources at all.

Nothing to help me learn no books and no cassette tapes, no people to help me. So I couldn't start

really learning until once I got into the military, then there's a lot of resources available to you

in the military, flammarics and DLI materials, that sort of thing. It was all non-cost, so I could just

go get it, and that's what I did. But I took Spanish in high school, and that was almost worthless,

but I took it, and I kept on it on my own once this class was over.

Yeah, same here. I took Spanish in high school, I took French in high school. It wasn't the best

of learning experiences there, and it was funny, after being in the military, I went to

a defense language school, and for Spanish going to seven students, I think I learned more
