Summary

Today was a sad day for everyone connected with Fulham FC, as it was announced that George Cohen died at the age of 83. George was a one-club man, and the only Fulham player to ever win the World Cup whilst playing for the club. In this episode, Sammy speaks to Michael Heatley about George's life and connection to our football club. We talk about his time as a pacy right-back who became integral to Sir Alf Ramsey's England side, and his life off the pitch, which was often spent at Craven Cottage speaking to FFC fans of all ages.
