This is a two-parter this week. It's Jeff Tate, the always great Jeff Tate, Mr. Jeffrey Tate, and Eric Calver is on drums and it was so good to see him and have his energy here in the studio.

Aristotle was going to do the board but last minute he wasn't able to so it ended up just being us and it was fun without having the suits around. I mean when Aristotle's not around we can do whatever we want. He's very bossy and he hits me.

So the reason I'm doing a two-parter is next week I'm part of I'm doing a show as a part of the Netflix as a joke festival. There's a lot of comedy going on in L.A. right now or you know starting to and I'm part of an ensemble we're doing shorter sets but it's at the Greek theater at May on May 7th. Friday May 7th I've never performed there before so I saw a show there once it's a really awesome theater so I'm really looking forward to that.

And I want to say something I've said this before but we are looking you know right now doing the board not the technical end of the show you know like the board the sound and everything which Aristotle typically did but the drops you know coming in here every week and opening up the computer and putting all the stuff on the sound board but you have to live in Los Angeles but we're really I'm really looking for someone that knows tech talk well.

Really well you're comfortable on there because every week I want to start you know doing more on there and someone you can edit a little bit in case you want to do a cool little video or take a snippet from the show and put it on tiktok or maybe a snippet from my stand up so and does pay.

But you really got to be comfortable with tiktok that's a very important thing and then editing so that is the case usually a stand up comedian ends up doing this job because you can also promote your dates on the show it works for you at a few levels so you know you can reach out to me at Todd glass comedy at gmail dot com and we'll start with that so

so and then next week on the show when we come back after the next two weeks you know when I first did open my night there was a comedian I became friendly with and his name is Mitch golem and he's a lawyer now and um we've known each other since I'm you know all really 15 I was like a month away from being 16 so and he was doing stand up and I was and we I bet we both have so many memories but I think his memories are probably ones I don't remember different.

Versions of my memory and I think if you're regular listening to the show that should be a really great show and we'll talk about comedy and the people we remember from stand up some people did open my night for a year never did it again but we both still remember the do remember jet ring do remember you know all these different people

and yes that is a real person and um some fond memories of a lot of people and what are they doing now or comedians that went on to do you know that we all know who they are now so

what we're going to do tonight maybe maybe but the end of the show will go like holy shit we didn't talk about anything serious tonight and the listeners know what I mean
