Summary

Geoff Lassers is a professional Firefighter, Paramedic, educator, and content creator. Mike Mattern, a professional firefighter and paramedic. In addition, Mike is a Peer Support Team Member for his fire department and the FST5 Program. Manisha Leary, LMSW, is the FST5 Program Manager and a clinical psychotherapist specializing in trauma.

Frontline Strong Together (FST5) was created in support of Police Officers, Fire Fighters, EMS, Correctional Officers, 911 Dispatchers, and their immediate families. FST5 is the result of collaboration between mental health professionals and first responders. This project aims to help first responders and their families overcome invisible injuries and stress caused by the difficulties of their professions, and to improve the quality of their life and prosperity.

The state of Michigan provided a grant and selected Wayne State University – Psychiatry and Behavioral Neurosciences, to partner with first responder professional unions and other interest groups to address the mental health of our first responders across all 83 Michigan counties.

1:01.8	to parts per billion, which is the most minute amount I have ever heard of and all the time
1:07.7	I've worked with CBD. The results of every batch are posted on their
1:12.2	website so you can literally see the same results that they see from the batch that you are ordering.
1:17.6	Secondly, they include workplace drug test kits in the order when you order it. So if you have
1:23.8	any fears, you get to do it just to appease it, even though this is a pure and safe product.
1:30.1	Thirdly, they've just finished a year-long study with the University of Maryland and Arcadia University,
1:36.4	and firefighters from all over the country sent in their urine samples and not a single person failed a drug test.
1:44.0	So you have three different tiers of trust
1:46.4	with this particular product. Now they have different flavors for their CBD. For anyone that's
1:51.3	had it that's just the CBD oil, it does not taste good. So they found a way of making it more palatable.
1:56.5	They have a sleep remedy that has terpenes in, again completely safe. That one's called out of service.
2:02.6	And then topical CBD, obviously, for aches and pains on the outside.
