PFT Live, Wednesday edition, March 11, first day of the new league year.

It starts at 4 p.m. Eastern.

It used to be a much bigger deal because that's when free agency started.

But this year, and I mentioned this last night in the emergency PFT PM that I did about Max Crosby.

Like, Max Crosby, this issue, and it's unfortunate that it happened,

but as it relates to interesting news, compelling issues,

plenty of angles to break down and just get your brain around,

it was a B-12 shot.

Because for as busy as free agency was, Chris, I'm curious for your thoughts on this.

As busy as free agency was on Monday, it really was kind of boring.

And I know that I guess part of the gig is we're supposed to hype it all up and act like it wasn't and get all excited when somebody resigns with the Giants on a one-year deal.

But it really, there weren't, I mean, when Malik Willis is the is the most compelling name at quarterback, a guy with six career starts, it really had been boring.

And just the, I think the visceral reaction to what happened last night, it confirms how

boring the first two days had been when this Max Crosby thing happens and everybody loses

their mind. And for me, it's, my first thought was, damn, all right now.

It's fine.

Like the funds finally starting.

Something good is not good for Max Crosby or the Ravens or the Raiders, but something

juicy is finally happening because it just felt like the first two days.

It just, it's like I'm supposed to get all worked up about this, but how do you get worked up? But when the bell of the ball is a center, like how do you get, how do you get juiced up about that? I know. Well, I guess I'm a nerd because I thought it was like one of the most exciting starts of free agency. Like I can remember. Well, yeah, I just did it. There was action, right? There was a lot. I'd done my live podcast at 1 p.m. the last few years when like free agency starts. And we start and we go, oh yeah, we got one signing. And then a half hour later, we got another one. At least we had action. I guess that's where I looked at it. There was action. Yeah was a lot. I remember the two most compelling first days of the league year.

When Peyton Manning, it came out, he was signing with the Broncos.

And that same day, Tim Tebow got traded to the Jets.
